Dua for Relief from Stress and Anxiety

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ وَالْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَضَلَعِ الدَّيْنِ وَغَلَبَةِ الرِّجَالِ

Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-hammi wal-hazani wal-'ajzi wal-kasali wal-jubni wal-bukhli wa dal'id-dayni wa ghalabatir-rijal.

"O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, weakness and laziness, miserliness and cowardice, the burden of debts and from being overpowered by men."

(Sahih al-Bukhari)

Dua for Ease and Tranquility

اللَّهُمَّ لَا سَهْلَ إِلَّا مَا جَعَلْتَهُ سَهْلا وَأَنْتَ تَجْعَلُ الْحَزْنَ إِذَا شِئْتَ سَهْلا

Allahumma la sahla illa ma ja'altahu sahla, wa anta taj'alul-hazna idha shi'ta sahla.

"O Allah, there is no ease except what You make easy. And if You wish, You can make the difficult easy."

(Sahih Ibn Hibban)

Hadith on Trust in Allah

لَوْ أَنَّكُمْ تَوَكَّلْتُمْ عَلَى اللَّهِ حَقَّ تَوَكُّلِهِ، لَرَزَقَكُمْ كَمَا يَرْزُقُ الطَّيْرَ، تَغْدُو خِمَاصًا وَتَرُوحُ بِطَانًا

Law annakum tawakkaltum 'ala Allah haqq tawakkulihi, l-razaqakum kama yarzuqut-tayr, taghdu khimasan wa taruhu bitana.

"If you were to rely upon Allah with true reliance, He would provide for you just as He provides for the birds. They leave their nests hungry in the morning and return with full stomachs in the evening."

(Sunan al-Tirmidhi)

Hadith on Submission to Allah

إِذَا قَالَ الْعَبْدُ: لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ، قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى: أَسْلَمَ عَبْدِي وَاسْتَسْلَمَ

Idha qal al-'abd: La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah, qal Allahu Ta'ala: Aslama 'abdi wastaslama.

"When the servant says: 'There is no power and no strength except with Allah,' Allah, the Most High, says: 'My servant has submitted and surrendered.'"
