Dua for Tranquility and Peace

Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-hammi wal-hazani, wa a'udhu bika minal-'ajzi wal-kasali, wa a'udhu bika minal-jubni wal-bukhli, wa a'udhu bika min ghalabatid-dayni wa qahrir-rijal.

"O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sadness. I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness. I seek refuge in You from cowardice and miserliness. And I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and from being overpowered by men."

(Sahih al-Bukhari)

Hadith on the Believer's Affair

'Ajaban li amril-mu'min, inna amrahu kullahu khayr, wa laysa dhalika li ahadin illa lil-mu'min. In asabathu sarra'u shakara fa kana khayran lahu, wa in asabathu darra'u sabara fa kana khayran lahu.

"Amazing is the affair of the believer, for there is good in all his affairs, and this applies to no one but the believer. If something good happens to him, he is grateful, and that is good for him. And if something bad happens to him, he is patient, and that is good for him."

(Sahih Muslim)

Hadith on Patience

"No fatigue, nor disease, nor sorrow, nor sadness, nor hurt, nor distress befalls a Muslim, even if it were a prick of a thorn, but Allah will expiate some of his sins thereby."

(Sahih al-Bukhari)
